What past storylines in Trek would you like to see followed up on in future shows?

The top one on my list is V'Ger. I want to see just what it is now exactly after having evolved at the end of TMP. Another reason why I want this is because it bothers me that ever since TMP came out, Trek shows have completely ignored anything TMP and I feel that this is undeserved because time has been kind to TMP since it came out and a lot of Trekkies now look at it way more positively than they did back in the day. For God's sake, Strange New Worlds even referenced Star Trek V: TFF by showing Spock's half-brother in the show! Are you telling me they can reference something from the widely criticized TFF but can't bother to make any references to TMP?! That's just wrong to me. Paramount seems intent on pretending that the events of TMP never even happened with the Star Trek universe and I have no idea why. I'm not saying they are, I'm just saying it almost seems that way.

Also, I would love to see more of the whale species from Star Trek IV: TVH. They did add the whale probe in this season's intro of Lower Decks so that's something, I guess?

Ooh, and why did we never hear anything about the parasite worm aliens from the TNG episode Conspiracy after that episode?! Would love to see them return somehow.

It would also be cool seeing the Hirogen again!

I'm a new fan and only seen TOS, TAS, SNW, on s3 of TNG and seen movies 1-6 and Kelvin ones so I don't have the fullest picture of continuity. I agree with the critters from Conspiracy, that was my best TNG episode so far and apparently they were supposed to be expanded on but were somewhat exchanged for the Borg.
From TOS, I really found myself wanting to know what became of Alexander from Plato's Stepchildren. He was a very sympathetic and likeable character and I would love to know how his life carried on.

Speaking of conspiracies...are we gonna not talk about the elephant in the room in that movie? Scotty gives the guy a metallurgical formula for...wait for it...transparent aluminum alloy.

Then, in the 90s, the Navy develops...wait for it...a transparent aluminum alloy.

And one episode I'd love to see a follow up on is the Traveler one in TNG. I think that would be a cool way to sort of expand a bit into one of the other quadrants, or even into intergalactic space.

Also, I'd like a follow up to many of the Borg episodes, especially after the queen was killed. Perhaps the rise of a Borg King akin to the one in Mirror Universe? Really, it's just an excuse to see more Borg Space. lol I'd love to see their networks and such in detail. Voyager teased us.

I thought it was interesting how they brought the Traveler back in "Journey's End. " It was totally unexpected and the story had 0 connection with "Where No One Has Gone Before."

I would like to know what happened to Discovery's new captain, still waiting on Vulcan since Pike hijacked the ship at the start of season two.

EXPLORE THE DYSON SPHERE. You could and should set an entire series about exploring an insanely, impossibly huge megastructure.

I wouldn’t mind finding out what happened to the other 99 “lost” Changelings besides Odo.

Or the eventual return of the Xindi. Or what the First Federation has been doing all this time.

A Dyson Sphere series would be great. It could be like what STARGATE UNIVERSE was with the Destiny.

I'd like to see the aliens from "BLINK OF AN EYE" again. As fast as they developed in that episode, imagine how advanced they became by the time Voyager got home, never mind the over 20 years between that and PICARD.

Definitely would like to see Tosk and the Tosk Hunters again.

Goran'agar... did he just stay by himself on that world or leave to find other Jem'Hadar who wanted to be free from the Ketracel White.

They somewhat followed up on the Dominion in Picard season 3. Some of the founders who still held a grudge against the Federation after the Dominion War decide to get revenge on them.

I'd like to learn how these species fit in with the Dominion. Did they get conquered after the events in DS9's "Captive Pursuits"? Were they already Dominion client members?
