What other games are like Oblivion?

I finishing playing Oblivion and it's expansion, Shivering Isles. I thought they were great. What other PC games should I check out next that are similar to this?

Meaning RPG or in the Medieval era?
The folks that made Oblivion also made Fallout 3

Oblivion also has the Knight's of the Nine and a few other expansions.

Fallout 3 is Oblivion in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Very, very similar type of gameplay. Oblivion with guns is how I'd describe it.

I found Dragon Age: Origins to have a somewhat similar flavor as well, although it's a bit more linear. The fantasy world setting is quite similar to Oblivions.

And there is the earlier Elder Scolls game, Morrowind, which I never played but I understand is quite similar to Oblivion in terms of style and gameplay.

The Elder Scrolls games are of a similar theme and vein so you should look them up. Neverwinter Nights too I believe is similar, and Thief.

Yeah, all of them are good choices. I personally preferred Morrowing since I felt the world was more creative and interesting.

Other good PC RPGs include Star Wars: Knights of the Old, Republic, Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, Deus Ex, The Witcher.

Not all of those are that similar to Oblivion but they are outstanding RPGs. If you give more details on why you liked Oblivion we might be able to give better suggestions :)

If you mean open world RPG in a fantasy setting, there are a few of those European RPGs.

Two Worlds... Drakensang... I know there are more, I just can't think of them.

I can't recommend Fallout 3 highly enough. It's one of the best games I've ever played. Hopefully, the upcoming Fallout: New Vegas will be just as awesome.

I may be shot for saying so, but I think Fable II fits the "similar to Oblivion" category. Oblivion is, in fact, the reason I got Fable II to begin with and I think it was a good deal.

Good time to look up the Euro RPGs since they are having a major sale.

Gothic 2+3 for 10 bucks.
Assuming you're not in the US, Risen might be on sale as well.
All 1c and JoWood games are on sale too (some of their stuff is definitely worth checking out, like King's Bounty/Mount and Blade).

Sadly, Drakensang/Sacred/Divinity 2 aren't on sale.
