What other 80s Cartoons would make decent live action movies?

In light of the recent Transformers movies, as well as the G.I. Joe movie, I was wondering what other 80s cartoons would make good, or at least halfway-decent live-action movies. Here would be my pick.

Thundercats

MASK

Centurions

I've heard rumours about a live-action Thundercats movie though. I'm not sure about the veracity of these claims however.

Spiral Zone for sure! It is bleak and depressing but it has roots in reality with the threat of terrorism and war.

It could easily work in today's world.

I think it's one of those things that have been in pre-production forever. It might get made eventually, but who knows? I would personally love to see it.

Wasn't there supposed to be a new He-Man being made as well?

Very few people know about it, mostly because the show wasn't shown as much on most stations-that's the hurdle in making a movie.

Star Blazers would be awesome if done right. Not sure how the new japanese movie will be be, but i want a big budget hollywood version!

You say that as though there have been ANY decent live action movies of 80s cartoons.

Well Robotech was actually the Japanese anime Macross which then had two other Japanese animes (not related except that they all used mecha) pushed together. That being said Toby Maguire is producing a Robotech movie so it's in the works.

I think Mysterious Cities of Gold could be a great series of family movies.

Possibilities:

He-Man: A script has been floating for a few years with a concept at one point of being one part Conan/one part LOTR/one part HPotter.

Captain Planet: This would play well globally most likely but if parodoy hero flicks like Sky High and My Super Ex-Girlfriend can get made this could be at least as half way decent as those.

Jem: Need some girl power glam and nobody rocked it harder. Hey if Zoolander can be a cult hit then Jem has a chance.

Silverhawks: This one has some serious 80's themes that would have to be overlooked but it is a space themed show and that would give it some uniqueness.

Sectaurs: Plays out like Conan meets Dr.Moreau's love child with Starship Troopers with some added lessons on genetic tampering.

Voltron: Hey, Transformers has already laid the ground work for this one. A script has been floated for a few years. Maybe we'll get it when TF takes a break at the box office.

Put me down for Voltron, He-Man, and JEM (Gotta show the girls a little love. My sister was ballistic for this show).

I never watched the old Thundercats cartoon, but this ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fb50GMmY5nk&feature=related ) sure makes a movie look pretty kickass!

I've enjoyed the movie versions of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles that they've made so far. I'm hoping that they eventually do a sequel to the 2007 CGI movie.

I'm not sure if this is '80s or early '90s but the recent wave of fantasy movies makes me interested in some kind of film adaptation of Gummi Bears.

I'm thinking Inspector Gadget and Richie Rich has been done. My other would be The Mobile Armored Strike Kommand (M.A.S.K.) but it's kind of like Transformers.

Inspector Gadget was done twice and done very badly both times. I think most of that just has to do with animation vs. live action. Some cartoons that rely heavily on visual gags such as Inspector Gadget & How the Grinch Stole Christmas simply don't look right in live action.
