What order should I watch...

I like this except for the Enterprise part. Watch Enterprise prior to ToS would be interesting to me. Of course work in "In a mirror, darkly" two parter into TOS and "These are the Voyages" into TNG.

This should be especially important to OP, since he's never seen Enterprise or Voyager. It would be nice to have something new at the beginning and end. And swap up TNG/DS9 episodes to keep it fresh.

Alex:

I disagree, Enterprise seems more like an altered time line with references that only make sense if you have seen the other series first. But that's just my personal preference. In fact, If you want to know more on why I think this way, here is some explanations ...

Hope it helps.

Yes, setting aside production values (I'm cutting posters off at the pass before they use this as a response), I understand that ENT is canon but I personally can't see it as a prequel to TOS. I can't even see it as a prequel to TNG.

Oddly enough though, I can see ENT as a prequel to ST XI.

I think FC and the Temporal Cold War changed things, then Nero's arrival and the destruction of the Kelvin changed things further.

Personally I think it goes:

1. 20th Century Canon: TOS-VOY and TMP-NEM
2. 21st Century Canon: ENT and ST XI+

In 21st Century Canon, TOS and TNG were possible futures like "The Visitor" and "Endgame" were possible futures. Star Trek (2009) showed those futures were not to be.

And, before someone says something and assumes I mean that to be negative, I don't. I think that's the way it should be. Each generation should have their own Star Trek and why should it absolutely have to be connected to what came out in the '60s, '80s, or '90s? Just because TMP and TNG decided to continue from what came before doesn't mean Star Trek has to forever. Just be a little more honest about it. A hard reboot next time instead of a couple of soft ones.
