What kind of climate do you prefer?

I prefer Four Seasons***** but we can't really afford to stay there.

The only other place I have been that I felt like "Hey! I could live here year-round" was the Bay Area, CA. Loved it.

Definitely. We used to live just South of there and the weather was perfect.

I grew up there, in Marin--right across the bay from San Francisco. It spoiled me completely--the climate was perfect. I wish I could move back there...but I'd have to win the lottery first.

The only day I spent in San Francisco was grey and overcast, a bit like being back in Blighty. Though it did clear up a bit as I was heading out of San Francsico.

I lived about 25 miles from San Francisco, in Walnut Creek. It could be sunny leaving home, and overcast with drizzle in the City. But I loved it all, since I had never seen the Pacific Ocean until then.

Proper seasons, but autumn and winter are ideal.

Anything over about 24-25 degrees (C, of course; I don't deal in imperial rubbish) is hot, as far as I'm concerned.

Sausalito was my favorite town in the Bay Area. When I make my billions, I am buying a vacation home there.
