Mine is lying in bed doing nothing but listening to music at night. Preferably I do not have to work the next day and it's windy and raining outside.

You mean aside from being on the BBS? I like meaningless puzzle games like Bejeweled. I can play them for HOURS.
Ah, so I'm not the only one.
I've got to play Bejeweled a couple of times a night. Love that game...been playing it for more than a year now. It's unusual for me to stick with the same game for that long, but for some reason, I have.
There must be something in Bejeweled that connects with a basic part of the human psyche.
Video Games! That's my primary hobby/spare time consumer.
I rank posting about Trek here on the BBS pretty highly too, but I like the windy and raining idea. It makes me appreciate my home more.
The Internet itself is my favourite waste of time, even when I'm being productive.

Right now Counter Strike. I don't even play the real game, just the death match...endless waste of time. Gets some aggression out, though.
The internet. Everything I do to waste time from Googling for Pam Grier pics to creating a Superhero persona and outfit all comes back to me being online and looking for distraction.
Livejournal, TBBS, reading fanfic.
The Publisher's Clearing House game site. Can kill a lot of time there.

Most of the time, it's screwing around online. However, when I'm not doing that, I waste time by either playing computer games or watching DVD's.
Playing Sims 2. I can spend hours and hours on that. I got three expansion packs for Christmas so I have been super excited to play this past week. Of course, other stuff keeps getting in the way. But after the holidays are over I have a month before school starts, so there should be plenty of time to play.

I'm right there with you. "Living in the moment" is SO overrated.
I say that if you enjoy it, it's not really a waste of time.
