What is your favorite Trek movie?

If you're interested in numbers, there's a relatively recent poll thread over in the movies forum. The majority of TBBSers prefers TWOK.
I was hoping for something a little bit more massively agreeable, something more particular, since all the people who dislike one or more of those films are obviously going to disagree on your gander immediately...
Of the movies I've seen so far [TMP, GEN, FC, INS, NEM, and XI] I'd have to say that so far, First Contact is my favorite. Of course, everyone talks about the Wrath of Khan so I'll leave my mind open for now as I haven't seen it yet. 
But then again, no guarantees; after all, I liked Insurrection. Gasp, huh?

The Wrath of Khan is my favourite, with First Contact a close second. Kirk's speech at Spock's funeral gets me every time.
I really don't know. They are all transition films to one extent or another... they are also all 'big event' films.
My top 4, basically the ones I try to watch at least once a year:
The Wrath of Khan - It really is the best.
The Undiscovered Country - It's just do damn cool. This movie rocks.
Generations - Yeah, it's flawed and ridden with plot holes, but damn it I really can't get enough of it.
Nemesis - It really is a great movie, provided you don't think about it.

I actually really enjoy this movie. Insurrection that is. I don't feel that anything was too fantastic about it, but it was a good follow to First Contact.

The thing was that I found that movie was really fun. I love sci-fi, I love comedies, this was a dream. Me, being the oblivious person I am [when most of what I'm doing is staring at Data or Picard] I completely missed any plotholes there may have been. I kept hearing about how everyone has been saying that this was an awful movie and I made the dreadful mistake of clicking on a video about Insurrection that explained why. It was four parts and just seeing a few minutes of the first ruined everything for me.
I'm never watching a review again.
That was the one. God it was cynical. Almost made me break down in tears. Being a generally un-emotionally-influenced person, you know it had to be pretty awful for it to do that to me.
This is tough. First Contact or Nemesis.

I liked Insurrection too. It wasn't a great Trek movie, but there was nothing about it that made me think it was a bad Trek movie either. I'd rank it pretty low on the list, but I'd still happily watch it again.
Plinkett's review of "Star Trek: First Contact" was pure douchebaggery. I generally like his stuff, but that was just bullshit. I still can't believe there are people like him (and people here) who have problems with it. I've lost count of how many times I've watched it, but in my life there are few movies I've watched as many times as "Star Trek: First Contact" and I still think it's perfect. The last time I watched it I was smiling or laughing almost the whole time. The humour never gets old and it's always uplifting and heartwarming.

I love drunk Troi too, but I think my favourite line might be, "Hot damn...you're heroic!". I know a lot of people think the Cochrane character is corny in that movie, but he makes me laugh constantly throughout.
I love his attitude, whether he's mocking the Enterprise crew's story or freaking out about hero worship. "I don't wanna be a statue!" is another huge laugh for me. I've never thought humour was one of Star Trek's strong points but "Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home" and "Star Trek: First Contact" really nail it.

The characters were true to themselves, the jokes were actually funny (unlike ST:V), it was a fun romp, and there was a meaningful message. After having suffered the agonies of seeing two beloved characters killed in the two previous movies, it was heart-warming and thrilling to see Spock back at Kirk's side and the shiny new Enterprise-A rocket off to new adventures at the end.
