1) Picard. While the storytelling isn’t particularly sharp, the character notes have been graceful.
2) Discovery. Especially since Season 3, when it turned into the post-Federation show I’d wanted to see since Robert Hewitt Wolfe pitched it after DS9.
3) Lower Decks, which probably understands the moral optimism of trek more than any other show.
4) Prodigy. Not a dig, though, I’ve been enjoying it. If I had kids I’d love sharing it with them. But it’s (necessarily) simplistic and both the animation style and the villains are a bit too Star Warsy for my tastes.

For sheer fun, it's Lower Decks, For nostalgia, it's Picard. Haven't seen Discovery yet.

I'm a little surprised a few people haven't changed their votes to Prodigy with all the love it's been getting lately (personally I'm sticking with Lower Decks for now).
Looks like I posted in the FOT Forum where I currently stood, but not here. Things have changed in the past month.

It currently goes:

Discovery & Picard
Prodigy

(gap)
Lower Decks

I don't include Short Treks because it's really Bonus Material for DSC (and PIC in one instance), and a Test Bed for SNW.

I have to see how DSC S4 finishes and what PIC S2 is like before the tie I have for Discovery and Picard can be broken.

This is hard, DSC season 2 was fantastic, but by fourth, sorta in shambles to me.. Perhaps SNW would be winner for me. For now, I choose LDS.

Lower Decks and it’s not even close. It’s just so much better than the other 3.

Prodigy did end very strong though.

LD here, too. Haven't seen any Prodigy, and I'm waiting for the LD Season 2 DVD set, and the eventual SNW DVD set, with a proverbial "worm on my tongue."

PIC looks pretty cool, at least in Season 2's previews. Really looking forward to it.

DSC has just ground to a halt lately. Season 4 has been rather dull - there are some episodes where almost nothing happens!

I used to be rather fond of Prodigy, until I saw the final scene in "A Moral Star Part II" which implied that

it's okay to leave a defeated enemy behind, helpless and insane, without food or water or the exo-suit he needs to survive, alone in the ruins of an abandoned asteroid

That kind of ruined the whole show for me. I'll just hafta see how they walk that back, if ever.

As for Lower Decks? It's OK, but I'm not a huge fan of the over-the-top humor.

But if you're asking what's my favorite Trek streaming series? Hell, I can answer that right away, and I haven't even seen it yet: SNW. I am so psyched for this. I know in my deepest heart and mind that SNW is gonna be my favorite! :techman:

I'm trying to keep my expectations in check for SNW, because aside from Akiva Goldsman I don't know much about the writers and I don't know what kind of tone it's going to have. It's got a lot of potential, but it's got a lot of potential to disappoint as well.

All I know is that we're going to need a new poll soon.

I'm looking forward to Strange New Worlds, but I'm always wary of putting things on a pedestal before they materialise.

I'm sure it'll contain all the usual early instalment weirdness that initial seasons of Trek shows do. It will have good episodes and bad. I'm looking forward to it, but I'm not backing a horse before I've seen it run.
