What is the worst Star Trek Episode????

"Year of Hell" was hell to watch and "Endgame" was the beginning of the "endgame" for my Voyager watching. I actually did avoid that series after those episodes. Hooray for obvious puns. :p
If you only finally decided to avoid Voyager after Endgame, you decided too late.:p

Does Shades of Grey have a clip of Remmick's magic exploding head? Because if it does, by default it's a great episode. Pwelch.

Except I didn't watch the episodes in order. The first time I watched full episodes of Voyager was on DVD when I got "Year of Hell" and "Endgame" on the "Time Travel" Fan Collective DVD set. Most of the episodes I've seen are ones I was sort of 'forced' to watch because they were on DVD sets I bought for other episodes. That's why just about all I've seen are those and the Q episodes, since I have the Q DVD too. I've seen "Flashback" too because I sought it out since I was curious to see how they would do a 'crossover' with the original series, but it was another disappointment to me.

Year of Hell in my opinion is one of the better Voyager episodes. I think the Krenim are one of the more interesting adversary races and the ship actually gets heavily damaged for a change.

If you haven't seen the rest of Voyager I am going to wager you will be disappointed by other episodes.

Ah, fair enough.

You know, I've never seen Flashback, but I should, just out of historical interest.

It might not be the absolute worst of the worst, but "Let He Who Is Without Sin" is pretty horrible. The Essentialists are stupid, "hey let's make our point by scaring people away with bad weather!". There's some gag-inducing attempts at humor thrown in for good measure as well.

That is most certainly NOT in the worst episodes list. Worf being to much of a prude and waging war on Risan hedonism is comedy that writes itself.

Ah, now I remember Threshold. Yup, it sucks, but it's not the worst, I think. Like "And the Children Shall Lead" and the one with the hippies. Herbert!

The Hippie episode from the original series. Crap-ola.

 Hey, I love The Way to Eden!

TOS: This is a tough one, that third season was a minefield of crap episodes. I was prepared for the crap that was Spock's Brain, And The Children Shall Lead and The Way to Eden, so the episodes which jump out at me as the worst are Plato's Stepchildren and The Savage Curtain. The Omega Glory and The Alternative Factor are also terrible.

TNG: I can forgive Shades of Grey because of the writers strike, so the worst episodes have to be in that awful first season; The Naked Now, Code of Honour and Angel One. Sub Rosa is bad, but is made to look worse by all the great episodes of seasons 3-6.

DS9: Let He Who is Without Sin and Profit and Lace may not be the worst episodes of the show, but they are terrible when compared to the general awesomeness of seasons 5 & 6. Meridian has a terrible A-story, but a good B-story rescues it.

VOY: Threshold.

ENT: I don't share the hate most people have for A Night in Sickbay, so the worst for me is easily Precious Cargo. That episode was bad in every way possible.

Overall: Threshold.

Trek has tons of unwatchable crap episodes that are abysmally horrendous in every series, and in some serieses, there are far more of them than in others.

However, there are so many in any case that narrowing it down to just one as the 'undisputed worst' is impossible.

TATV - downright insulting.

And that's been the last of filmed Trek for years now!!! Where is the damn movie to wash away the last traces of that vile "valentine!" :klingon:

As much as I have a fondness for TNG's season 1, I will be man enough to nominate "Code of Honor" (Data's attempt at a joke being the only redeeming moment).

But there's still nothing wrong with "Lonely Among Us". :D

Alternative factor... at least Shades of grey had some good parts hehe. I'd rather watch American Idol than alternative factor...

Quality-wise, "Spock's Brain," "Sub Rosa" and "Threshold" were the worst that Star Trek ever had to offer.

But "This Ain't The (motherf***ing) Valentine" was a frakking insult and as such it gets my vote.

TOS - And The Children Shall Lead, Plato's Stepchildren.

TNG - Shades of Grey, The Royale, The Naked Now, Code of Honor

DS9 - Profit and Lace

VOY - Threshold

ENT - Exile

Valentine? Huh? I can't find that word in the Star Trek episode script database.

I saw that a lot, and understood what it was referring to, but it wasn't until like yesterday that it finally occurred to me: This Ain't the Valentine = These Are the Voyages = TATV.
