What is the meaning of your real name?

My real first name means "Lord of the house." .. the boss, the man, the big cheese, the ruler of them all.. etc etc etc :p

I’m another Scot — actually a Jew of German, Polish, and Russian descent.

But then, there are lots of girls named Melanie who aren’t dark.

It'll probably turn out that you are not who you believe yourself to be. You'll be the long-lost son of the Last True Scotsman, who will one day be called forth to rediscover his destiny and reclaim his heritage. Then the battle for freedom begins!
Well, I’m damned if I’m going to wear a kilt. And I’m not too crazy about golf, either.

'person from scotland'.... yeah...

if you take my middle name, first name and surname and structure them more coherently, it comes out as 'victory of the free people of scotland'...

shame i'm English, eh?

My first name (disregarding the "Junior" part) means Brave as a Bear or Bold as a Bear. :vulcan: I didn't know that before today...

Charles. Depending on who's doing the translation means a man, a husband, or a free man. Apparently it can also refer to "a villain." But that meaning was done away with by Charlemagne.

Stacey - which I've always known to be a short form of Anastasia, which means "resurrection" (or literally, "up standing") - I just found out might also be a form of Eustace, meaning "fruitful".

Seán is derived via the French Jean from the Hebrew Yôḥanan, meaning "Yahweh is gracious" or a variant thereof.
