I once recorded an episode of Galactica 1980 on an 8-track tape.

It was the Return Of Starbuck, but I'm not sure why I wanted an audio recording.
I used to record tv shows on cassette too!

They had 8 track recorders back then?
I remember compact cassette decks. We had several models but had never heard of an 8 track recorder.

I did a research on Google and I found this:

I suppose they were quite expensive...

We had an Emerson radio/phonograph/8-track on top of the TV back then.

I wanna say my brother wired some RCA plugs onto the TV speakers so we could plug right into the Emerson.

I liked Elektra as a guilty pleasure and actually think it's at least OK even otherwise. Good protagonist and, though with some annoying supporting characters and absurd story elements, the story was pretty good overall and most of the action good. I liked that with the antagonists' powers it didn't try to be realistic.

Catwoman was not good but not terrible, Berry was at least pretty interesting going over the top although Stone was overly annoying.

Wow, I think that is the nicest thing I've ever heard anyone say about Catwoman.

You could have almost saved that burning down orphanage, if Sharon's character had identified as the bat-villain "Clayface".

Oh my goodness. 8 track home deck.. and it records.

8 track, the only place I have encountered those was in cars or 4wds

We used to get CBS on the lower end of the FM band, I used it to make a crystal clear, high-fidelity recording of ... Land of the Lost. I think it was even the somewhat forgotten 1991 series so I couldn't even blame it on being a child.

I was a big Superman fan when I was younger and had a crush on Supergirl when I saw the movie the first time.
Plus the suit looks the best :)

I saw the trailer several times in the 80s, It looked good, but my wavering masculinity as a 7 year old would not permit me to watch a girl movie.

Netflix's Elektra was so good, I have no idea how "old school" Elektra is ahead of the pack.

I went with Tank Girl. It's a confused mess of a film, but of all of those it was by far the most ambitious and imaginative. Most of the others (the one's that I've seen anyway) were just flat-out boring. Barbarella would be a close second.

Twice I've tried to watch Elektra and twice I've fallen asleep in the attempt (and I'm one of those strange people that thought Daredevil was OK. The Director's Cut anyway....)

Never bothered with Catwoman as it looked rubbish before it came out and nothing I've seen or heard about it since makes me believe it's worth the time to actually watch it.

I know I've seen Red Sonja at some point, but for the life of me I can't remember a single thing about it, other than a shot of her riding a horse at full gallop and Arnie was in there somewhere. So I'm going to file this under "unmemorable."

Supergirl is a real shame since the lead actress was very well cast, but that's about all they got right. The script is all over the place, the direction is weak, the effects pathetic even by the standards of the day and the plot is so nonsensical it can hardly be said to exist at all.

#1Tank Girl: I was something of a punk at the time and had read the comics. The movie captured the punk spirit of the comics, and got street-cred from a gang of skinhead lesbians I played road hockey with. I can watch it over and over and enjoy.
#2 Electra: I liked Daredevil more than most, and I liked Electra. I can watch them over and over and like them. They were true in spirit and theme to the Frank Millar comics that spawned the movies. I don't understand the hate. Compared to any other comic movies of the time they were awesome, and are still fun to watch.

As for the rest, I have seen them and that is all I have to say. I appreciate the effort and creativity it takes in any era to put fantasy/sci-fi on the screen and I don't hate.

Speaking of RED SONJA, I'm still kinda disappointed that the remake with Rose McGowan disappeared into Development Hell.

Confession: I once made an offer for the novelization rights based on the poster alone!

(Would've made a great book cover.)
