Unless an episode leads directly into the next I've always assumed he's had adventures we didn't get to see between episodes.

As we've already seen with "Time Crash" being slipped in between "The Last of the Time Lords" and "Voyage of the Damned."
Define..."infiltrate."

Not if he does it before Victor shows up (not much point afterwards...) and is in disguise.
He's probably done it already anyway - the Fifth Doctor knew about them so I reckon Two did it... he fit right in with that lot, especially the impromptu music sessions. He's about the only one who would. One would just think it was a lot of silly childish nonsense, Three would get reminded of those darn hippies that ended up with Jo Grant leaving him for a younger man, Four would be too darn freaky even for Who fans, Five would get exasperated, Six would shout a lot (him and Victor might be a sight to see), Seven would use them all as pawns against an evil from the dawn of Time and get them all killed (probably after Ace stole Elton from Ursula), Eight was going to infiltrate them but forgot and Nine doesn't like people knowing about him anyway.

glad to see you have spent no time thinking about this matter.Drinking, maybe he get's drunk sometimes between episodes. I can imagine him barging in to the Tardis saying to whoever is with him at the time ( some hot woman probably ), "Sssorrrry.... sssoooooooo verrrry sorry, I had one too many I'm afraid to say. Now I need a kabab ! I love Kababs, do you like Kababs ? D-err. . we-er-rl maybe we should have a curry. . . more explosive but less toxic if you know what I mean heha ! [raises eyebrows] Just stay away from me first thing in the morning, OK ?"
