What is Maurice Hurley's opinion on post-TNG season 2?

However, TPTB didn't care too much for it and thought that the bridge was underlit.
Which is ironic, since many of the same people were responsible for the lower lighting levels in DS9, Voyager, Enterprise, and the TNG movies. To the point that in some of them, you wonder if the Federation has forgot how to make anything brighter than a 60-watt bulb.

In fact, a new director of photography came on in Season Three and the film stock they used was changed - this had an effect on the kinds of lighting they could use, and the look of the show did improve as a result.

Futhermore, the lighting scheme in Generations was similar to the scheme in "The Child."
