What is in your Trek collection?

I just bought a UFP flag for my office -- it was delivered today after I left for the day, so I haven't even seen it yet! I also have an autographed picture of Patrick Stewart and an Enterprise D Christmas tree ornament. And a boxed set of TNG DVD's.

I've read many Star Trek books over the years, but I mostly get them from the library. Those that I buy, I pass along to someone else when I'm done.

I collect the novels as they come out (when I can afford to), and have all the DVD's. I also have the CD's to all the pilots and movie soundtracks, and some of the episode collections. And I have some of the Christmas ornaments, but haven't collected any of those since 2003. And I buy, or am given as a gift the wall calender each year.

Hmm... must be close to a thousand books (and I've read most of them; I've been buying them since the early 1970s), a few hundred comics, a bunch of soundtrack CDs and LPs, a few audiobooks on cassette, maybe 150 fanzines and letterzines, dozens of official magazines, lots of VHS tapes and DVDs, and a few random toys, video/computer games, and knickknacks.

A friend of mine has a Star Trek - The Motion Picture pinball machine. I wouldn't mind having one of those. Or a TNG pinball machine.

PICS....we need pics....

I've not gotten around to making a display yet, but this is the Enterprise D from First Contact. It was in the glass case that Picard smashed along with other Enterprise models. You will notice in the scene that it does not break, but rotates a bit. It was broken for the next part of the scene and the parts were placed in the bottom of the case with the broken glass.

I assume it was some regular production toy that was set up for the movie. Why make props when your show has been on long enough to use toys?:rommie:

The saucer is 13.5 inches wide.

NCC1968 I am enjoying your treasures!

I forgot I also have a gazillion micromachines. They make very good christmas ornaments.

Maybe someone can help me with a link here.. I used to have Bat'leth earrings. They were crappily made but they looked great. I got them on ebay. Eventually I lost them and I have not been able to find them since. I would LOVE to have another pair.

Very cool that your boss would let you hang it in there! If I were in an office job, I'd find some way to get hold of a Cardassian flag and hang it in there.

And see how long it would take until someone got offended and made me take it down. ;)

Extra unused Son'a face application from Insurrection.
My girlfriend says it is creepy:lol:

Well, nothing fancy:

- CDs: Two scores: GEN and FC
- DVD: TNG complete (plastic packages with metal case for all boxes), DS9 complete, Movie "Generations" (Special Edition), some VOY-Episodes recorded from TV.
- Books: "Star Trek Design", 1701-D Blueprints + Technical Manual, "The Physics of Star Trek", both Catalogs from Christies's Auction in New York.
- Games: Star Trek Voyager - Elite Force (plus Expansion Pack).

A buttload of model kits, both finished and stockpiled.

Some action figures including an original Mego Spock and a 12" TMP Spock, and almost all the new AA ones.

Lotsa toy or model phasers and communicators.

Lots of blueprints and technical fan publications going back to the 70s.

All the SciPubTech cutaway posters.

And the Starfleet Academy sticker on my car's back window.

TOS Scripts (especially early drafts).

I also have a couple of the early novels (including a beat-up original copy of "Mission to Horatius"), a few Gold Key comics, Trimble's "Concordance," Asherman's original "Compendium," and Joseph's "Technical Manual."

I had a few models back when I was a kid in the 70s (a bridge, K-7 and a brown Klingon ship -- why brown, I wonder. Was it a miscolor, as most of them were white, iirc?) but have long since lost/given them away. I've not been into such things as an adult. Someone gave me a Kirk "Generations" doll for Christmas '94. They assumed, I suppose, since I was a Trek fan, such things would interest me. I thanked them graciously, then put it away in a box in storage somewhere.

Actually, he isn't very happy about it. Gave me a speech about maintaining credibility in my leadership position and on and on. Wasn't very happy w/ the Obama magnet that lived on my file cabinet for a while, either.

So far, I've resisted the temptation to ask what wearing our local NFL franchise sweatshirt every Friday in football season does for HIS credibility. ROFL

Aside from a few DVD's and an insane amount of video, I've got a few model kits I've put together, a couple of Playmates ships, a few figures including the Trials and Tribbleations and Worf in the unused Generations outfits...

I've got a few books, mostly 'making of...' stuff, a collectionof communicator pins which are all in odd places around my house, TNG tricorders and part of a First Contact era uniform. I had more uniforms, often being the geekiest person at Halloween, but being 80lbs heavier than I was when I bought them, they were sold off.

The weirdest thing (for me) had to be the sticker book which resulted in everything from my laptop to NES having starfleet labels on them.

I collected a TON when I was a teenager. I had so many issues of the DS9 and VOY magazines with the pull out posters. My bedroom walls were literally covered from top to bottom. I had posters on my ceiling.

I had the entire First Contact action figure set (small ones), and the 8" Insurrection set. A Borg Queen statue. Tons of other 8" dolls. Uniforms. 50+ novels. Plates. Phasers. Etc.

I've since gotten rid of a lot. I still have every single Hallmark Trek ornament (oy that's an expensive collection), a plate or two, some books and assorted pewter ships. But that's about it. Most of it is highly sentimental.

TNG episode "Sins of the Father" there were Kilingons trying to kill Picard as he sneaked around town and meeting Kahlest.

Here is the resin and rubber prop knife:

Ignore the various other item around it

Here is something I really like.

It is a Class B Starfleet top from TMP. I always liked the simplicity of it as well as the color and texture. It is like brand new......

Since Scotty is my fav member I have a lot more related to him than anyone or anything else.

Here is a First Edition (1975) signed Tech manual:

TMP -signed by Shatner, Nimoy and Doohan on the cover it is also signed inside by Kelly next to his pic......wish it were on the cover also.

While there were many Klingon belt props this one is interesting in that it is small......32inches maximum fit. It must have been for a female....a lot fewer of those were cast.
