What is in your Trek collection?

What do you collect?
What are a couple of your fav items?
What do you wish you could get?

Tons of Playmate figures. I no longer collect these.

Art Asylum figures, random DS9 ones. Deliberately collecting all of the ENT ones.

Every single new book since the start of Relaunches. Now that they only come out once a month I might actually catch up. Also have about 100 of the older books.

DS9, ENT and VOY special box sets as offered by EZdvd (VOY is a nice borg cube etc..). TAS dvd set. TOS videos season 1-2.

What I would like:

ENT's Enterprise, the big model. SO sad I never got that one.

AA Dr. Phlox.

AA figure of Ezri!!!! (does this exist yet?)

TOS Remastered

I have a Spock ear. And by that I mean that I bought a human ear off of ebay that the buyer says belonged to Leonard Nimoy. It was only $15.95. I think that's quite a bargain!

:rommie:

He had 2 last time I checked.........

How about Spock's latex ears from Amok Time......I know where they are :techman:

I'll have to get my software updated and upload onto my server to share some pics......

I have a rather humble collection compared to many people, I expect. ;)

Mainly I own Trek books...I have a pretty large collection of Treklit going all the way from TOS novels to young adult "novels" through to some of the more recent offerings. The most recent thing that I've actually bought and kept, of the current books, is the Terok Nor series.

I also think I still have some Trek action figures stashed away somewhere from the 90s.

I also own the DS9 DVDs.

And my most recent (and unusual) acquisition...a nice little pin bearing the sigil of the Cardassian Union. I intend to wear that at an upcoming sci-fi/fantasy convention next year. :)

Have you read those 100+ books?

Nope! I have bought them in thrift shops. I like how they look.

I have read all the DS9 ones (the numbered ones) and about half of the VOY ones. A couple Shatnerverse. But the old TOS and TNG, no.

I fancy having them all some day.

Oh I did read Imzadi because it was always listed as a wonderful book pre-relaunch. Put me off Peter David forever and TNG books for a long time. Horrible piece of tripe.

Here is my pair of Starfleet environmental engineer’s boots from The Wrath of Khan or The Voyage Home....no way to be sure.

They are holding up well for their age and considering that they are props and not for use.

They are modified Italian boots and I tried them on once when I got them.....cool.

I'll try to put up another each week or so......should be fun.

Apparently, I have a frickin' huge collection, even though I didn't *think* it was that big. I have two Bajoran earrings (a Major Kira replica and a "Bajoran-style" Celtic-looking one), IDIC necklace and earrings, a TNG picture autographed by all 7 main cast members, some random autographed pictures I got from actor appearances at conventions, a TNG jewelry box, all 7 seasons of DS9 and TNG on DVD, all the kids' books, TNG, DS9, VOY, NF, SCE omnibus, and Titan books along with a couple other random Trek books, (and yes, I have read them all), and I think there might still be my old action figure collection and some Decipher trading cards from the game in a box out in the garage. When I was about nine I also had a Starfleet uniform, comm badge, and phaser, Bajoran phaser, and maybe a tricorder (I was a Starfleet officer for Halloween one year), along with a DS9 T-shirt. My favorite things have to be the books, particularly the DS9 relaunch, and my DS9 DVDs.

I would like to have the rest of the Strange New Worlds collection for the novels, and I'm debating whether or not I ought to seek out the Vanguard series or the Lost Era novels.

Oh, and to answer someone's question from above, an Art Asylum figure of Ezri does exist.

Most of my collection is DVD's. I've got all 3 seasons of TOS, TAS, all 7 seasons of TNG, all seven seasons of DS9, all seven seasons of VOY, and the 2-disc versions of all 10 movies. I've also got several books - about 40-50 novels covering all the various TV series (I have read them all) and several nonfiction books (the Chronology, the Encyclopedia, the Star Trek Compendium, TNG Companion, DS9 Companion, VOY Companion). I've got several issues of magazines like Star Trek Communicator and Star Trek The Magazine but it's not an extensive collection. I also have about 200-250 Star Trek comics, ranging from the Gold Key series up to the current IDW stuff.

My favorite items are my TOS and DS9 DVD's, the companions, and the encyclopedia.

I'd like to get all four seasons of ENT on DVD. I'll probably pick them up in the new year.

I don't own any Trek collectibles, I do have the entire DS-9 and Voyager series on DVD and I have a small collection of books, not the novels, but The Star Trek encycopedia, Star Maps, Ships of the Fleet, DS-9 technical manule and a few magazines.

DVDs - TOS: "The Empath /Tholian Web"
Movies: TUC, GEN, INS & NEM

Numbered Model of the 1701-D

Ensign Ro Playmate Figure

Several Comic books - a few from the 80's and most of the newer Image issues

Older versions of the Chronology and Encyclopedia

Several Pocket Books - TOS, TNG & ENT

an autographed Marina Sirtis NEM trading card (on its way from her website)

...and my most prized Star Trek possession (especially now), an autographed Majel Barrett 8x10 as Nurse Chapel.

Not much left from when I was a kid. A few coffee table books in a box somewhere and some audio CDs now on my computer.

I'm really only interested in the non-fiction books. I have the TNG and DS9 tech manuals, the revised encyclopedia, both Sketchbook releases, Star Trek: The Continuing Mission A Tenth Anniversary Tribute, The Art of Star Trek, Star Trek Action!, Star Trek Quotations as well as the superb DS9 episode guide and The Making of Star Trek Deep Space Nine.

I also have the Ent-D blueprints, The Best Of Star Trek: 30th Anniversary Special! Original TV Soundtrack and special edition DVD copies of three films, II, VI and VIII.

Wow, where do I start. My brother Ben and I started collecting Trek back in the 70's and have a museum's-worth of Trek merchandising. All the books (and I mean all) comics, models, Mego figures, playsets, playmates and galoob figures and sets. Just about everything. It was a hobby we shared for years until his passing this year, and it was time spent together that I will alwas cherish.

My biggest recent acquisition was Sisko's red and black uniform from seasons 1-5 of DS9 from the Christies auction.
