What is everyone's beef with Rita? (Dexter)

I wouldn't be surprised if a number of you Rita haters would change their feelings about the character once you see how Rita's death affects Dexter and how he is left a broken man because of that loss by the end of the season (well, a little more broken than usual.)

I don't hate Rita but I do hope she dies because I have no idea what would happen then and I love unpredictability!

This show is getting just the teensiest bit staid and suburban. I wanna see some really seismic event.

just finished season 4 at [some place to watch for free] and i feel really bad for just about everybody on the show. where are rita's kids supposed to go? what is debra going to think about the bizarre murder?

I never had a problem with Rita.
