What Ifs of Trek:Myriad Universe ideas

Worf is accidentally sent through the Guardian of Forever to the time of the rise of Kahless, only to find that Kahless is a mental-defective and a coward and Worf must assume his identity and create the legend that is Kahless to found the Empire.

Two things:

1. That wouldn't be a divergence point as nothing would be different from the way things are.

2. Specifics of story ideas aren't allowed in Trek Lit. So I've spoiler coded your post.

that's a rip-off idea any way. the idea of some one from the present replacing someone in the past? Hello, Past Tense? it was also going to be used in what became Yesterday's Enterprise, only with Sarek replacing Surak.

^ Then you'd have no time for writing!

Hey,

Could we get a mirror story featuring Q or even a Myriad one? Pretty Pwease...

Q vs. the Jem'Hadar!!! :D
Wait... no... just the Jem'Hadar... I guess it all hinges on who has found the Wormhole in their universe, and which changelings didn't react stupidly to "racism" -specism?

So you'd like to see a Star Trek-based ripoff of
Michael Moorcock's novel Behold the Man, in which the protagonist goes back in time, discovers Jesus Christ is a physically and mentally defective, and ends up being crucified in Christ's place?

The Madness of King George III?
When my now-wife and I were dating, she was working at Paramount (on Voyager and First Contact, actually). Karen would bring home flyers for films that would be screening on the Paramount lot, simple one-sheets announcing the movie and the time and place it would be shown. One such film was 1994's The Madness of King George. Well, Karen did a bit of doctoring to the screening flyer, and when she nonchalantly brought it from work and handed it to me, I looked down to see a studio invitation to The Madness of David R. George. Though I haven't seen the flyer in some time, I know I still have it tucked away somewhere.

That's the one, Steve Roby; thanks for the author and title. I knew I had heard of someone doing that concept before, but didn't know who or what book. Now I can go find it in the bookstores!

Yeah, I guess that wouldn't really be a divergence after all, would it?

Has anyone done a story about what if the Vulcans continued down the path of emotion instead of embracing logic?

two questions:

1. why can't specific ideas be posted? i think i know, but wanted confirmation.

2. besides the TOS crew being in the myriad3 book, has anyone heard what other crews will be present?

Due to the dangers of nuisance lawsuits, professional writers can't risk exposure to unsolicited story ideas. Keeping this forum free of story ideas is necessary if pro writers are to participate in it.
