What if the USS Enterprise 1701-A was destroyed by Captain Klaa in Star Trek V?
If I recall correctly the producers of the movie saw aspects of that film as noncanon so I don't think much of anything.
But has anyone ever seen Wall-E? On the DVD extras there is a short named Burn-E. Replace Burn-E with Kirk, the despenser with Starfleet and the little lights he's trying to fix with ships.
You'll know what I mean if you've seen it.

I was actually thinking:
Burn-E = Chakotay
Dispenser = Voyager
Running Lights = Shuttlecraft

Then the story has a chance to develop more drama, perhaps Sulu and or Checkov(sp?) could get killed. Uhura or Spock gets command of the exclesior in star trek VI, could had the ending of star trek v or beginning of star trek Vi morning the death or deaths of their friend or friends. It would have changed the dynamics and the feel of star trek vi perhaps for the good when it comes to more backstory, to the conflict between Kirk's hate for the Klingons in Star Trek VIWhat if the USS Enterprise 1701-A was destroyed by Captain Klaa in Star Trek V?

No, it was Gene Roddenberry who felt the film was apocryphal
