WB would never approve it I'm afraid. As I said in the other thread on a Batman series a few days ago the WB movie division has an embargo on Batman television stories. The only TV adventures of The Dark Knight they'll allow to be made are cartoon based.
While getting the rights for Batman from WB is certainly going to be difficult, there is a little something called a thinly-veiled ripoff. Change Bruce's first name, slightly alter the costume, maybe call him Bat-Hombre, and it's all good.
I think that it'll be fairly cheap to purchase the rights to Betman, also known as Bedman and Yarasa Adam.
Are we could engage in a diabolical plot that involves using Jack Bauer tactics on WB execs and their families until they cave and agree to sign over the television rights to Batman.
