What If Marvel 52!

Okay in response to to a post in the DC Reboot thread...here is a partial listing of my Marvel 52. There are 42 books. Still thinking of others, not including kid or the Ultimate Universe in this. Mine isn't a reboot or relaunch but more like a colossal renumbering and restructuring of books. Everything before this still happened. Mary Jane and Peter's marriage has been restored. Still thinking of creative teams for books. Feel free to post your own! Also additionally...you can only use creative teams if you think of them that actually work at Marvel.

I'm drawing a blank

I think part of the sad state of comic-dom these days is the depressingly large number of titles put out by Marvel and DC each month.

52 is wayyyy too damn many.

I'd say between 12 and 24 ongoing series at one time is enough, with another 8 to 12 mini-series going on at any one time.

^ You're ruining the fun of the thread :) This is purely theoretical. Of course 52 is way too many. If I tightened the criteria of my restructuring then I'd round it out to about 25 books.

1. Amazing Spider-Man
2. Spectacular Spider-Man
3. Uncanny X-Men
4. Astonishing X-Men
5. X-Factor
6. X-Force
7. New Mutants
8. Wolverine
9. Cyclops & Phoenix
10. Deadpool
11. Black Panther & Storm
12. Mighty Avengers

I might read the Hydra series. Of course, I'm imagining a Marvel Universe version of Henchmen 21 and 24.

Fun fact: when you look them up on google to get their numbers right, the third auto-complete suggestion down is 21 and 24 slash. Who wants to see that?!

But WTF people!? No Eternals on anyone's list!?

Since I can't continue to edit my original post anymore for some reason here are additional books.

43. The Silver Surfer Written By Greg Pak
44. Ghost Rider
45. Spider-Man Team-Up (Rotating creative teams)
46. All New Marvel Handbook (one a month each spotlighting a new hero or family of books)
47. Nick Fury: Agent of Shield Written By Nick Spencer
48.Osborn Written By Dan Slott Art by Macros Martin

I should mention that the X-Men: First Class book in my original post like others that might have been mentioned in previous lists in this thread does not have anything to do with the movie continuity. In fact it would have nothing to do with Jeff Parker's continuity either. It'd be yet another entirely new retelling of the origin of the X-Men. No idea who the creative team would be. It'd be a mature book though, not youth oriented like Parker's book was.
