I was never a fanfic fan, but I do remember being intrigued when I ran across a copy of (and I think I still have it somewhere) "Quantum Beast" where Sam leaps into Vincent from "Beauty and the Beast".

Wow, that brings back memories - fanfic that was actually printed out and sold at conventions!

I also read a fan-fic or similar once where Sam lept into someone, and found himself on board a Cylon Raider, sending laser-fire into the Galactica.

When he recovers from the disorientation, he then realises he's jumped into one of the stunt guys who plays a Centurion on the show!
