What Have You Read In 2010? (so far)

"One Man's War" by Tommy Lamore (an amazing tale of a B17 tailgunner who was shot down over France, fought with resistance, escaped from a POW stalag twice and finished the war in the company of the Soviet army (a unit of Mongolian horsemen no less).

"Recollections of Slaves" (oral interviews taken in the 1930's with former slaves)

currently reading "Sherlock Holmes."

but I have to study for board exams first, that is next Tuesday.

I'm currently reading "Not Dead Enough" by Peter James. I'm trying to get to his newest one becasue a friend of mine actually appears as himself in it!

I'm halfway through "Immortal Coil" by Jeffrey Lang and I just started "Everything's Eventual" and "Cell" by Stephen King.

I finished reading The Alien Agenda: Investigating the Extraterrestrial Presence Among Us, by Jim Marrs. It's all about how ETs have been visiting our planet for Millenia, and how factions of the Government are aware of this, some in contact, and are keeping it from the general population.

And, yes, I caught the irony of the author's name.

Just last weekend started reading my Christmas present book, Dan Brown's "The Lost Symbol".

Hey, no one said it had to be high class reading only in this thread :p

I haven't read 'Everything's Eventual,' but I thought both 'Cell' and 'Immortal Coil' were quite good. I hope you enjoy them.

Currently reading Nanny Returns, the sequel to Nanny Diaries. I've already read (though more pictures really than words) When We Were Beautiful, 25 years of Bon Jovi. :techman:

I just finished December by Phil Rickman. I have had it sitting on my shelf for a while but have never gotten around to reading it. (It is one of his less successful novels so I was not in any real hurry. It wasn't half bad though.)

Now I am reading Rickman's The Cure of Souls, which is part of his Merrily Watkins series. I love this series so I am very excited. (Rickman's books are hard to find in the States so I have to special order them. Since they are hard to come by, I take great care in reading them and only do when I have the time to savor them.)

After that one I have decided to finally read Ghost Legion by Margaret Weis. After her previous Star of Guardians novel, I just couldn't bring myself to go any further in the series. For lack of a better description, it was awful. But I paid for the book so I might as well read it and get it over with.
