What happens when Disney's new online streaming service kills Netflix,CBS All Access, etc?

Netflix series produced by Marvel will remain on tne service. Studios that are owned by conglomerates that operate competing pay tv/streaming services still want to make money selling to other outlets. The R rated nature of the NF/Marvel shows aren't compatible to be on a "Disney" name branded service.

That is if Disney doesn't get into the R-rated business. I think it's just a matter of time before they expand into that territory. They won't give up on the family oriented stuff but their is no reason they can't do both. I think there has already been talk of a r-rated Disney movie and then you hear about that idea of selling 2 versions of the same movie. One that is edited to be more familiy friendly and another that is the more pure version of the movie.

I especially think this will be the case for tv where they more edgy stuff I think tends to be more popular today. Shows like "Game of Thrones" and "Walking Dead."

Paying for seven streaming services at $10 each is still cheaper than cable and satellite (in my area). I can't see needing that many services anyway, since some are surely to overlap. I use Netflix, Vudu (Walmart), and Amazon Prime ($100 a year is $8 and change a month), so Disney would have to offer every movie in existence for $2 a month to kill off the rest.
This what a lot of people don't seem to realize. Even if you have basic cable you still are getting a good deal by picking up two or three streaming services instead of paying extra for the premium packages that are offered. You come out ahead even more by picking up several streaming services instead of basic cable all together. The real cost doesn't come from the streaming services though but your Internet bill but conversations like this already assume you have a decent service if you already are using Netflix or Hulu.

Like said though Disney would have to offer everything everyone else has in order to kill them and that's impossible. Disney will have a significant amount of content assuming they can put up everything in the vault. It would make it one of THE services to have by default in the end.

That's the key here. Is Disney willing to put up everything in the vault? Or is it just going to show newer releases and a small subset of the old stuff?
