What happened to...?

Firefly - This show had potential, and was near perfect during it's short run. I would've liked several seasons of this. Nathan Fillion is great, and I still champion that he should be a star by now.

Twin Peaks - I can't really see Twin Peaks lasting much longer then it did, the show seems suited to a shorter run. But I would have loved to see another season wrapping up the story. As it stands, it seems oddly appropiate for Twin Peaks to end on a massive cliffhanger, but I would've loved a conclusion to.....


As for movies, How about Bubba Ho-Tep? This was planned but axed due to Bruce Campbell not wanting to revive his Elvis role.

I don't think ET needs a sequel. But I've always been impressed with Spielberg's restraint to resist the inevitable pressure to go to that well again.

I can't possibly imagine E.T. having a sequel. Everything is tied up and the movie ends perfectly.

E.T. is one of the most touching movies ever.

Speaking of which, I have heard Several times about a planned sequel to Dances With Wolves that was shot around for a long time.

Galaxy Quest actually did quite well, doubling it's production budget if one includes it's worldwide take..

But, even though the actors were willing, the studio backed down, as there were copyright issues brought up after GQ's release..(Paramount's Greedy Fingers anyone?)
