What happened to the Enterprise-B?

LtCmdr_SC2007

Lieutenant
Red Shirt
Hello. I have been wondering about what happened to the Enterprise-B? Was is destroyed or decommissioned? Is it told in a story somewhere? Thanks for all the help.

I'm surprised that this hasn't come up yet as a throwaway line or an actual story. Does nobody care about the Harriman/Sulu days?

I care. *wipes away tear* But I try to resist the strong temptation of throwaway lines, because it'll just become a continuity glitch when someone comes along and writes the actual story.

^ Serpents Among the Ruins doesn't address the fate of the ENT-B.

Fictitiously yours, Trent Roman

Considering that the Harriman/Sulu days have been the subject of two novels and one short story, I'd say yeah, somebody cares. :)

Just nobody's told the "final" story yet....

People do care yeah, have you read any of the David R. George III stuff?

I think that it is a subject deliberately being left vague in order to provide a nice playing field for potential future stories of that era. It is assumed that she served a distinguished career under the command of her two known captains and then was retired some time before 2332 when the "C" was launched. But the details of her big finish, not unlike the ultimate fate of Hikaru Sulu of Excelsior, are still left unknown.

In fact, the Enterprise-B fell through a spacewarp into the Delta Quadrant, where it was assimilated and turned into the flagship of the Borg's controlling intelligence. From that point on, it was the Queen-B.

Then it was rescued by a wizard and became the Spelling-B.

It wound up on Sesame Street 4 Generations: Down The Line, where it helped generations of children spell 'Bollocks'

One impressionable toddler was Miles Edward O'Brien.
