What happened to the Dominion fleet in 'Sacrifice of Angels'?

They were probably sent to another time -- probably so far into the past that even history forgot them and whatever they did.

Maybe they were sent back in time and deprived of ketracel white they went on a killing spree, creating chaos and accidentally killing changelings living in indigenous populations. Which drove the founders to create the Jem Hadar, to fight the Jem Hadar, to create order.

But really, I thought they were just removed from existence. The wormhole aliens have no problem making their enemies suffer or be banished from linear time. Thus the fire caves.

RE: Sisko...
I'm a Sisko Baptist. I don't believe Sisko has come back, but I believe he will someday. Can I get an Amen?

I think the ST Online explanation is the closest to a cannon we will get on this one.

(Spoilers for the game)

In one of the major story arcs, that fleet finally arrives 30 years late. The Prophets are beings outside of linear time. Not destroyers. What goes in, must come out somewhere or somewhen eventually.

I'm as Sisko Jew. I don't think he was the Emissary, and I've grown weary of the concept. Can I get some capers with my lox?

It's not anywhere even close...ST Online's continuity is for the game, and only the game.

I can't help but agree - the game can be fun (and also repetitive and dull) but it is too warlike to be a decent future for the trek universe - to make the game actually work you are fighting everyone, not very Starfleet.

You miss my point. We will likely never get an official on screen truly cannon explanation. At present the best that we have is that one from the game. Yes it is cannon only to the game. But it does pass through a few more hands than the random novels do, especially since they use voice talent and character likenesses from the shows to get there.

Behr wanted Sisko definitively dead.

The actors chafed, so were thrown a bone: a question mark - to appease any interpretation that will satisfy people. If Behr's in charge - he ain't coming back. But Behr may not be in charge "next time". WWACSCD?
(What would a corporate suit committee do)?

Sisko and Mace Windu are off peeling potatoes somewhere, waiting for their glowy cameos. The guy who played Annikin said "Don't get your hopes up."

The Jemmie fleet probably got notice of no glowy callbacks.
