What happened to that video game?

Did that Stargate Worlds or Universe or whatever it was called ever come out?

Don't know or care, as they screwed a lot of things up making it inconsistent with the show.

Planets with environments different than a pine forest or desert, even though the show states the Ancients terraformed all planets to look alike.

Female Jaffa warriors serving the Goa'uld, even though the fact that the Goa'uld didn't allow female Jaffa to be warriors is one of the reasons why Ista and her followers rebelled.

SG teams dressed up like Master Chief, which just looks stupid.

Like STAR TREK Online it does look like they missed the whole point so I probably won't get it but as for a release date...Q3 2010 has been mooted but they don't really know due to cash flow issues.

I just don't see how Stargate is popular enough to sustain a MMORPG, especially since it's more in tune with SG-1, which has been off the air for several years now. I'm certainly not going to play it. I probably won't play the Star Trek MMORPG either, but I'm much more interested in that than Stargate Worlds.

According to my gamer nephew the MMORPG may see the light of day later this year. However sometime in the next few months there will be a different game coming out called Stargate Rebellion or something like that.

Stargate Worlds is not dead. Not yet, anyway. And The Alliance was canned during SG-1's 9th season, not the 5th.
