What happened to Star Trek Magazine

Does anyone know which stories will be included in the upcoming Star Trek Explorer: The Mission and Other Stories collection? Amazon doesn't have an image of the book's contents page.

I don't know the entire contents, but I believe I have two TNG Stories in that book: "Scramble," a holodeck yarn involving Dixon Hill and Durango, and "Pulaski 2.0," a story about Doctor Pulaski.

My DS9 story "The Mission" is in there too (obviously!) along with Greg's stories. I believe the others are Gary Russell's "The Guardian" (TOS) and "The Expert" (TNG), Chris Dows's "Paghabi" (TNG), John Peel's "By Special Request..." (DS9), "Control" (ENT) and "The Victim" (DS9), Una McCormack's "Things Can Only Get Better" (DS9), Michael Carroll's "Frontier Medicine" (DS9) and Chris Cooper's "The Disavowed" (TNG).

I got my digital supplement for issue 10 in my email this evening! I have to admit, I was not expecting it this early!

I wonder if Arex is Edosian or Triexian in that story. So far, Triexian has been exclusive to the Pocket Books continuity, while Ballantine, FASA, DC, Modiphius and Star Trek Timelines have all used Edoan or Edosian.

He is Edosian in the story, although the author used the "Arex Na Eth" name from the Triexian version of him from the Pocket Books stories.

Easy enough fix. One's a species (like Humans), the other is a cultural group (like, say, Cajun). Some of their people find pride in being from the same species, while others take pride in their little group in particular.

Except that Articles of the Federation refers to Edoans and Triexians as "two species".

I never understood why they changed "Edoan" to "Edosian," and I understand even less why Peter David coined "Triexian" instead of using the established species name. Let alone why he came up with such an implausibly on-the-nose name -- ooh, a tripedal species named Triexians. Isn't it bad enough having cat people named Caitians? As far as I'm concerned, they're all Edoans.

I could be misremembering, but I thought we first heard "Edosian" in terms of the orchids, so I think at first I just thought "Edoan" was the species, and "Edosian" was a general adjective for things originating from Edos. But then everyone started using "Edosian" for the species name too. Of course, outside of humans themselves, Star Trek has never really gone the route of having separate words for those concepts, so I cab see how people would start assuming it was the species name too, once "Edosian" made it into the canon.

Maybe they changed it to avoid confusion with the Edo in "Justice."

Sorry to hear that, @Reanok . I believe I had a similar issue after my first renewal, with issue 5. Fortunately, they will usually make it right if there's a problem, but sometimes it takes multiple follow-ups.
