What happened to DC Comics?

I only liked the war comics they did. I am happy that they are restarting the Haunted Tank series (even though it is only a 5 issue run). They are doing a new twist on it. It is set during the 21st Century and the tank commander is a black guy named Jamal Stuart who is a descendent of General Jeb Stuart.

The Unknown Soldier stuff was good. I'm not really versed on the Haunted Tank but may check it out when its in TPB.
