So we've all seen Connolly get blown to smithereens by a rather largeish asteroid, or did we really? :vulcan:

If you think about it we haven't seen the body, and in TV that means he's not definitely dead.

Let's look at the facts:

1. There were red angels about, if they helped Burnham with a minor stab wound, would they not intervene in a major smashing?

2. If Red Angels did intervene maybe they shipped him off to a distant planet where he started a civilization on his own we'll get to visit down the line. See Rimmerworld.

3. There were spores involved as well, maybe he space jumped out of the capsule like a Tardigrade would since he's good with science and stuff?

4. Look upon this face:

Is it not the face of immortality itself?

5. He knows more than half-Caitians, Caitians have 9 lives, half-Caitians have at least 4.5, so he has at least 5 lives. Confirmed by canon. And he spent max one, so clearly he's alive.

So what do you think happened to him and how exactly did he survive since he's obviously NOT. DEAD.

Discuss!

He and Mr. Leslie (who himself came back from the dead) were deeply in love.

The cloud creature in Obsession was like black mold, so it belonged to the mycelial network. When Mr. Leslie had his temporarily fatal run-in with the cloud creature, he found Connolly in the cloud (because dead people hang out in the Mycelial network, and Leslie had a personal connection with him) and brought him out -- back from the dead.

Years later, however, Leslie realizes what an ass Connolly is, and they go their separate ways.

Whenever someone eats your lunch at work, Connolly is there.
Whenever someone cuts you off for the parking space you waited for at the mall, Connolly is there.
Whenever someone takes up two seats on the bus or train, Connolly is there.
Whenever someone farts in an elevator, Connolly is there.
That is how we remember him.
