Been trying to figure this out for awhile.

I believe its season 2.

At some point, Picard is off the ship. i think.

A very tall Klingon merchant is contacted (he's in his own shuttle sized ship).

Riker is trying to figure out a way to get answers from him. He only replies: "No." Then they tractor beam him in and use some loop hole in starfleet regulations to have him examined in sick bay.

any idea?

Just watched it last night. I had forgotten that was the ep where there is some really great tension between Data & Worf.
