What does your Steam account look like?

Bah, that's nothing. 96 games, omitting the two SDKs and external multiplayer (but counting external expansions as additional games).

Huh, I didn't know you could do that. But then maybe you can't, the URL generates an error. 
EDIT: Okay, it's working now. Shows how much attention I've paid to the evolution of the platform. Do external games added to Steam (mods and such) show up on that list, or only games purchased through Steam?

Works fine for me, and I'm not logged in to the Steam Community site... Did my exact link given an error for you, or were you trying to change it to display yours? If you're trying to change it, you have to use your Steam Community user name, not your Steam login name.
That would not surprise me. 
And in answer to your edited in question: Only games purchased or downloaded through Steam show up there. I don't know if mods downloaded via Steam* show up there, but self-installed ones, and any external games you add to the list, don't for sure.
* Not everything on the list is available directly from Steam--some just link you to the mod's website--but Dystopia and Eternal Silence are. I stopped checking once I hit two.

I have 81 games, though I imagine a few are SDKs and things like that.

Back in my day Steam didn't have "groups" and we liked it that way!
I'm not really a big gamer, so mines basically the Half-Life 2 FPS's, Aquaria, and L4D.
At some point soon I need to order Plants vs Zombies.

Back in my day it took longer to unlock my Half Life 2 files then it took me to install it and that's the way I liked it!
Nah actually after playing Half Life 2 I hated Steam so much that I didn't touch my account until I picked up the Orange Box for $25 and I couldn't believe how much it had improved, Valve had built something that rivaled Xbox Live.
I've just added Peggle Deluxe to my Steam account. 
Basically just Orange Box games and L4D.
