What does Chris Pine SOUND like?

Here's a new interview with Pine. He sounds perfectly alright; I think he'll do a fantastic job being the new voice of Kirk.

It's actually an informative interview. And he's been stumping for Barack Obama! I'm liking this guy more and more.

When asked if people are ready to embrace the film, Pine says:

[...]I've seen post and whatnot going both ways - people either excited about it, or, you know, giving it the middle finger all ready[...]

Does Chris Pine read the Trekbbs?

He may not, personally, but I have no doubt that there's someone whose job it is to keep track of what sort of things people are saying about him on message boards, and right now, some of that's likely to be us. Pine will hear (and has been hearing) about some of the standout bits positive and negative, I wouldn't be surprised.
