What do you think would really happen if a Godzilla style monster was real?

We have seen what happens in the movies but what if such a creature existed in real life? I assume people would try and kill it in real life just like in the movies. If people just had to accept it as part of everyday existence I think you would see some push to create underground homes. Also you would see the collapse of big cities and people would live in smaller more spread out towns or villages. Skyscappers would certainly become a thing of the past.

We'd kill it immediately and then sell tons of merchandise off it. There would also be a slew of theatrical and TV movies.

It would not be able to escape the missiles and other weapons that the air forces around the world have like in the movies. So yeah, it would be killed.

I was wondering about that. Can't some bigger real animals like Elephants even die if they lie on their sides to long?

Monster rights activists would suddenly become a thing protesting the governments and militaries trying to kill it since of course giant monsters should be allowed to rampage through our cities, destroying them and killing people. It's what nature intended.

Well a monster that size wouldn’t exist in the real world. Something that size would collapse in on itself.
If that wasn’t the case I would just avoid Tokyo.

Unless it wasn't incredibly light. But in this case it wouldn't be a real danger.

They would be fine as volume would fall into the square cube law. If it didn’t they would be crushed no matter what side they were on.

Even if it didn’t crush itself, humans wouldn’t provide enough calories to power that huge a body on a rampage through Tokyo. It would prey on other smaller giant monsters. So even if humans couldn’t come up with the weaponry to destroy it, they could probably lure it away from big cities with big bloody hunks of smaller giant monsters.

Godzilla would hire a sharp lawyer and get a restraining order against the military, futher claiming that he could enter the US without restrictions and vote in elections.

MONSTER LIVES MATTER!
