I definitely have mixed feelings about Cosby. I can't deny his place in the history of comedy and entertainment in general--and that's even without The Cosby Show--but there are times when I find him more silly than really funny, while other times he's touching upon some really profound stuff in his material.
In recent years, though, I tend to think of him as being more of a social activist than a comedian. And like most social activists, he eventually says stuff that a lot of people don't like to hear or think is too preachy...
