What do you think about the USS Vengeance ? (spoilers, probably)

Technically, Starfleet is still the same, focusing a little more on weapons and such but still the same.

And you know this how? StarFleet militarized heavily after The Battle of Wolf 359, so I'd expect an even stronger reaction after Nero blew up Vulcan. I seriously doubt that Admiral Robocop is the odd man out in StarFleet.

StarFleet is far more militarized and paranoid in nuTrek, so the outside appearance of the Vengeance makes sense. However, that doesn't explain the inside appearance. The inside design should be very similar to the Enterprise, but instead it looks like something out of Mordor. Very silly.

Actually, Starfleet seems less militrized in the Abrams series than they were in TOS. The Abrams movies cling to the idiotic "Starfleet is not military" belief from TNG onwards, while in TOS Starfleet clearly was the military.

Granted, the dress uniforms in STID are more militristic than any other Starfleet uniform, even the TWOK-TUC ones.
