What do you do for a living?

I'm a high school English teacher. This year, I teach 9th grade English (honors and traditional). If you want the full, extended resume, then I'm also the school ASB advisor, Poetry Club advisor, school newspaper co-advisor, and part-time "Shoulder to Cry On."

It's the most demanding thing I've ever done with my life...but it's also the best. There's nothing like being influential in the life of a kid.

Props to you teaching is tough work. I help out at school and coach various team sports with my boys, and just those couple of hours a week wear me out.

Awww, thanks. It definitely wears you out...both physically and mentally. Still, the real props go to the parents. The ones who are responsible for those kids beyond the 95 minutes/3x weekly that their scrawny asses are under my control, that is. There's no "winter break" from being a mom or dad.

I think I'm managing an okay job of raising mine. Definitely couldn't teach them though! Glad there are teachers like you out there :)

I'm a grade 8 teacher. I have a homeroom of 21 kids to whom I teach English, French (they are an immersion class, so their French is like English class), Health and Math. I also teach "being a nice person" fairly frequently ;)

I love my job - there are so many rewards to teaching. And I say this even though I'm in the midst of report card prep today ;)

I'm the Director of Finance for an entertainment company that shall remain nameless...until I no longer work here then I'm spilling all the beans.

I'm a clinical data manager for a non-profit company that performs clinical cancer research.

Basically, I manage (massive) data flows and hunt for the rubbish information in there.

I'm an Air Force cadet at the Royal Military Academy. Currently I'm almost halfway basic training to become a 2nd Lieutenant. After that I'll be an officer at the Communications & Information Systems department from one of the RNLAF airbases.
But right now I'm still just a lowly Cadet-Soldier 3rd class.:shifty: Pay is still good though ;).
