What do YOU collect?

Post-World War III action-adventure series. Always on the lookout to fill in the gaps in my collection. If that's your thing, I have a recent thread in Trek Lit I need some help with.

Also, Legos (though never enough time to enjoy them, it seems) and the little MicroMachine toys, both the older soft plastic ones from the 90s and the newer Titanium series die-cast metal ones.

I have a few of the highly-detailed Johnny Lightning series, but on the lookout for more...they seem to be hard to find.

Action figures. Mostly 1:6th scale from companies like Sideshow and Hot Toys. I've posted some pics of my collection before on here.

I sort of collect flip clocks, although I only own a few. Below is the one in my bedroom, the awesome Panasonic RC-6551, 45 years and still going strong. I had to replace the light behind the radio dial yesterday though.

I don't have any collections really...but I do own hundreds of books. Maybe over a thousand. That's more hoarding than collecting though, really.

I collect mass transit farecards. I have ones from:

- Tokyo
- Boston (a CharlieTicket)
- New York City (MetroCard)
- Washington, D.C. (a DC Metro one-day pass)
- New Jersey Transit (weekly rail pass)

I gotta ask my British relatives to send me an old OysterCard. :D

You have been to TOKYO?

I want that clock Mr. B!

I've been collecting books since I was a kid and I'm trying to restart a collection of records since I got a new record player recently.

I collect the following:

- DVDs (especially Criterion Collection editions and TV show box sets)
- Anything related to the video game character Kirby.
- Music (especially live bootlegs of favorite artists such as Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Waits, Pearl Jam and so on)
- Books (authors I like such as Hunter S. Thompson, Jack Kerouac, William S. Burroughs, David Sedaris, Charles Bukowski and others)

In the end, it's nothing truly exciting, but it keeps me more or less happy.

Kira's Mom asked

Where did you find the Darth Duckie? I want one.

There were four ducks in the Pond War series

Duck Fader
Pond Trooper
Princess Layer
Luke Pondwalker

All of them are glow in the dark ducks. You put them in water and their oscillate though their colours. Duck Fader is especially menacing when he turns red as seen here

I bought mine off Australian eBay. Unfortunately I looked on the web and they seem to have sold out everywhere. They were made by a UK company and don't seem to have had a US distributor.

The same company also bought out Ducktor Who and a Mr Spuck (the only Trek duck I have).

I collect books and TV box sets.

I'm trying to get all the ST books (a mammoth task) and re-collect some stuff that my parents sold when I was away at university a few years ago.

I own all the books in several series.
