I know it's slightly off-topic, kind of, but the funny looking viewer on Sulu's helm console didn't make it to the next century! And probably every Six Flags amusement park! -- RR
Actually, the California coastal region apparently didn't make it to the 24th century. Janeway said it was a part of Earth's largest coral reef.Much of the California coastal region, according to Captain Janeway (VOY: Future's End)

Eddington showed Sisko an old Canadian $1 coin, a family heirloom, so apparently Canada has made it to the 24th Century. And perhaps Eddington himself is a Canadian?
I believe that that is what LCARS 24 meant, as the thread title asks "What didn't make it... ?"Actually, the California coastal region apparently didn't make it to the 24th century. But we know that motion pictures were a source of entertainment during ENTERPRISE. But I often wondered why they only showed "old" movies. It would have been fun to see the crew watching a "current release". Say like ROCKY XXXLLIVIII.Apparently there is no TV in the 24th century.

Ya, it said somewhere that the TV ceased to exist by 2140 (somewhere there). I wonder if they are just referring to the television sets not the shows we watch on tv?
On Enterprise, Trip was watching the olympics on a display in his quarters. So perhaps its just the tv sets themselves that ceased to exist including the VCR and DVD players.
Yes, but ST Enterprise is not 24 century. But we know that motion pictures were a source of entertainment during ENTERPRISE. But I often wondered why they only showed "old" movies. It would have been fun to see the crew watching a "current release". Say like ROCKY XXXLLIVIII.![]()
Well, I really don't want them to change St.Petersburg to Leningrad again. That would be a serious setback for the Russians.
