What did you watch as a teen?

Not childhood, not adulthood, but in between. What did you watch from 13-19?

I watched a lot fewer shows than I did as a child. Some have stood the test of time, others I'm embarrassed to admit to having watched. It's a mixed bag. The Star Trek franchise was the dominant force thoughout and the one constant.

Batman: TAS
Batman Beyond
Beavis & Butt-head
Beyond 2000
Boy Meets World
Dragonball Z
Family Matters
Hanging With Mr. Cooper
Herman's Head
Homeboys in Outer Space (yes, I know... )
Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman
Married With Children
Nowhere Man
Platypus Man
The MAXX
The Next Step
Roc
Sliders
Sanford & Son
Step By Step
Star Trek
Star Trek: The Next Generation
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine
Star Trek: Voyager
The State
VIPER

That's all that's coming immediately to mind. There was more variety in my childhood and 20s.

Influenced by this thread about childhood shows that I thought was in this forum but is in Misc. :p

TNG was actually in it's first airing when I was that age. That was my major focus. Those teen years were between 1985 & 1991, for me

Some others that I watched, which were in production at the time
Cheers
M*A*S*H
Moonlighting
Married With Children
Newhart
Quantum Leap
& the Simpsons were getting their start then.

Probably some others too, but those were the most memorable favorites

MASH was not in production in 1985. It finished up in 1983. Maybe you were thinking "After MASH"?

From age 13-19? Hmm...

Angel
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Dawson's Creek (the early seasons... pretty much gave up/grew out of it after that)
ER (the "good" years with the original cast)
Felicity (seasons 1-2... dropped the series due to schedule conflicts)
Friends
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine

Star Trek: Voyager

Tail end of TNG, DS9, VGR, TOS re-runs, Larson's Buck Rogers re-runs, SeaQuest DSV, Sliders, Quantum Leap, Red Dwarf, X-Men and Spider-Man animated series, early years of Buffy, some Doctor Who re-runs, Lois and Clark, Bugs.... think that's about it.

oh, and some Babylon 5.

and The X-Files, Time Trax and Highlander

I am still a teen, so mine are a little more modern.

24, Friends, That 70's Show, House, Star Trek (TNG, TOS, VOY, ENT this far), Rome, Dexter, The Practice, Crossing Jordan. To name some, at least.

Hmm, 1981 'til 1987...

The shows that spring to mind are TNG (only just!), Fame, Beauty and the Beast, He-Man (the only cartoon I watched in my teens), and The Dukes of Hazzard in the early 80s. But what really sticks out in my mind is the music video shows that seemed to come from nowhere during this time. Quite a few Toronto TV channels had their own video shows, which was a good thing for me because we only had basic cable and MuchMusic was a paid-TV channel (I could hear it but not watch it as the picture was scrambled). 25 years later my kids are watching Weird Al Yankovic videos on YouTube and my teenage daughter agrees that A-Ha's Take On Me video is one of the best ever. :)

That would be about 92-02

My teen years were '83 to '89. The biggest show for me in those years was Late Night with David Letterman. That was really a groundbreaking, cutting-edge show, and it was fun to watch it take on the conventions of network TV.

The prime-time shows I couldn't miss were Cheers, Hill Street Blues, St. Elsewhere and Magnum, P.I. In the late '80s I was often out nights and I had a job in a restaurant some nights so I missed a lot of late '80s shows (thankfully, probably).
