I learned that groin pulls hurt like hell.
I learned that The Cat Came Back, that silly children’s song we all sang when we were kids, was in fact originally written in the 1890s in minstrel dialect.
I have never heard of this song.

I learned a great deal about the renovations at the Stratosphere. The Las Vegas hotel, not the part of the atmosphere. Anyway, it's looking pretty cool, and if you stay there, make sure you get a "Stratosphere Select" room. Those are the new ones.
I also learned that pity party threads in both Misc and the Forum That Dares Not Speak Its Name don't go well.
And for some reason I'm now hankering for pita. With either hummus or falafel, but preferably both.
