What did Burnham do to Spock?

Burnham told Uhura an embarrassing story about him. Spock never forgave her.

I know what that embarrassing story is too, but you'll never get it out of me. I'm no snitch.

She called him a "green blooded hobgoblin" and burned his comic book collection.

Whatever it is, someone is probably going to figure it out (as they did with Voq and Lorca), and we are going to be underwhelmed by it.

Damn fan theories.

Ruin everything.

I'll probably get yelled at for this but I'm going with the most "kid/teenager" thing.....
The most logical thing to my brain....

She simply broke his heart. He probably had some sort of step-sibling crush on her.... and she destroyed him for it. It would be very LOST, and that's already a show that's been touched on this season. It would not surprise or bother me if this is where this is going.

I pray we're not going Flowers in the Attic with this. Spock Prime pre-TMP didn't have crushes. This isn't the Kelvinverse, where he's more comfortable with his human side.

"Little shadow" implies hero worship. It's a strange position for us to see Spock in after more than a half century with the character, but after reading Desperate Hours (I know, novels are not canon), I'm convinced what she said had something to do with Sarek and Amanda.

It's Primeverse canon that Sarek and Spock never melded (TNG). However, not only has Michael melded with him, she's walking around carrying a part of his katra. Once older, Spock would be able to put that in its place, but as a kid or a teen? He'd resent the hell out of Michael.

(I love DSC, but I do think this storyline is one that opened the show up to far too much scrutiny and critique. I wish they'd made her Soval or T'Pol's ward, or the ward of Tuvok's family. They could have made Sarek her mentor, and Spock, a younger classmate... ah, the road not taken.)

She tricked him in to performing a ventriloquist act at the Learning Center talent show. "Spocky" was not a hit
