Ok, check it out. Q comes along and wants to put all of the Star Trek crews to a grand test. He puts Earth in danger, an anti-matter asteroid, with a quantum singularity inside it, is heading straight for Earth. Due to the gravimetric disturbances, tractor beams wont work, and it scatters phaser beams. Torpedoes aren't strong enough, so the crews will have to come up with some kind of genius, science type way of deflecting, destroying, or stopping the asteroid, presumably something that any of the ships would be able to do, even the NX-01. So it's not a matter of what ship, but the ingenuity of the crew that will save the day, just like Q wants it.
The question: what crew could do it first? Based on what we see in the episodes, and how fast they solve problems, who would? Would it take a whole episode, and outside help? Or would (Insert name here) have the perfect solution, rewire the deflector dish or something, and save the day?
They have 10 hours before it hits, there is a derelict alien ship nearby, and there might be anti-matter people living on the asteroid.
Captain Archer and the NX-01
Captain Kirk and the Enterprise
Captain Picard and the Enterprise D
Captain Sisko and DS9 (we'll say in his case, it's Bajor)
Captain Janeway and the Voyager
