I was specifically meaning the color of the Enterprise, but, yeah, those two blues are too close.

I seem to recall (from building it in the mid- or late 70s) that the instructions in the AMT Enterprise kit had the hull color as metallic blue. So my father and I spray-painted it metallic blue and it didn't look anything like it did on TV, though the shiny, dragonfly-carapace-like dark blue sheen was quite beautiful in itself. We finally painted it over in silver.
