I wondered if they'd do "young Khan". It must be tempting given the reputation of the "Star Trek II", but I'd rather they didn't revisit that character. I don't think anyone could fill Montalban's shoes. It might be better if they re-invented the look of known species for this new time period/timeline as they seem to have done somewhat with the Romulans (although I don't know if from now on they'll be bald with facial tattoos ).

In a sense, they already did the "young Khan" thing in Enterprise. "Khan" was played by Paul Atreides (no, not Orson Hodge... the other one).
