And now that I think about it, I think the Grim Reaper would have a cat. Probably a tabby.

Wow, cool that we same to the same conclusion on #s 3 and 4.

I picked the Shih Tzu for Vader because my neighbor's Shih Tzus are more vicious and nasty than any large guard dog. They've tried to attack my dog before (who is an easy going lab mix), and have also actually bitten people.

The only other dogs I've seen nastier than Shih Tzus are the Yorkshires, which I chose for the Reaper.

Sometimes size of a dog has no bearing on how foul tempered they are.

Are we talking pure Shih Tzus or the Xs? Might be the pure breed? While our family's Shih Tzuz-Maltese X is a good guard dog (she goes out first to investigage then the rotty follows if he thinks she's on to something which is apparently a history connection between the two breeds) she's not vicisious though has been known to growl at the cat when he gets too close to her food.

My neighbors vicious dogs are pure Shih Tzus, all 10 lbs or so.

They've even bitten people (although because they are little dogs, they get a free pass).

I realize most are probably nice dogs (those that have owners that train them), but the untrained ones can give Terrier breeds a run for their money.
