what bands do you really love

Huge PT fan here. I heard two of my other favourite bands Opeth and Dream Theater raving about them so I picked up Fear of A Blank Planet last year. Can't believe I overlooked them so long. Now I can't get enough, and own all their albums. I really love Spocks Beard and Rush, too, so your theory seems to be correct!

I actually discovered Porcupine Tree a couple of years ago via a Rush website. There was a long thread in the non-Rush music section about PT, and I finally gave a listen. Blackest Eyes was the first song of theirs I heard.

Now I'm totally hooked. The Incident is awesome, have you heard it? Are they coming to Australia on this tour?

The new PT is great! They're coming to Oz next year and I really want to go and see them.

That's great. We saw them in September in San Francisco. They were awesome. Well worth the money.

PT are a real talent, and I think they deserve a bigger following than they have.
