What are your plans for the Easter weekend?

I'm flying to Italy on Saturday for a two week vacation. Luckily I'm going to an area which was not affected by the recent earthquake, but it still puts a bit of a downer on the visit.

Good Friday: watch tonight's ep of T:SCC and then work in the afternoon.

Saturday: see Fast & Furious in the afternoon. Watch Doctor Who in the evening and the post online about it.

Sunday: talk to my sister on the phone who's just moved and discuss both of yesterday's viewings (she'll be seeing F&F too) and then catch up on saturday's Robin Hood and Primeval

Monday: watch sunday's Portugese A1GP

I'm freaking out over absolutely nothing. :(

Friday I'm working. Saturday I'm going to a BBQ with friends.

Sunday I'm going to Easter dinner with the new boyfriend, who for the past 2 years has been the friend.

His parents are coming in for the Easter weekend, and since a friend of ours is having a Seder on Sunday (instead of tonight or Thursday), they're coming to that as well.

He and his parents are Jewish, and having never met the 'rents, having gone to a seder, wanting them to like me I'm FREAKING OUT!!! I've been reading up on Seders so I don't do anything incredibly stupid.

I hope they like me.

:(

Just tell em "they don't make Jews like Jesus anymore!" :) Good luck!

Well... church in the morning should be great, can't wait for that. Lunch and some work around the house if the weather is decent after that. Maybe watch a movie later on. That's about it.

Sunday morning I'll be running an easter egg hunt for a hundred kids or so. In the evening we're having some family over for dinner.

Well the weather looks like its going to crap all over my plans. So I guess I'll need to figure out something to do at home all alone with my wife all day.

Sunday looks nicer and there is a park nearby we've been meaning to check out. Looks like an 8 mile loop around a lake. Maybe we will do that. Pack up the dog and bring him along and watch him make a bee-line for the water.

Wanna trade In-Laws CD? I got the catholic ones coming and I don't know if I'm in the mood for all the sit down, stand up, fight fight fight.

I've even got some matzo crackers so we could eventually make matzo ball soup.

I'm spending the weekend either at church or in the kitchen cooking. I'm singing at the Good Friday service, then I have choir practice Saturday morning, then I'm cooking Easter dinner the rest of the day. Then on Easter Sunday, I'm up before dawn to get to church to sing at both services!

We're also taking the little one to the community's Easter Egg hunt, run by the local Jaycees and my Leo Club. Hope some of the Leo cherubs are there to help.

This easter weekend I'm continuing what I did last weekend, exploring the significance of lighting in making stuff look three dimensional.

working most of the weekend though i do have monday off which my partner has told me she has something special lined up.

Church, of course, then lunch with family at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center. Though I'm thinking I might skip that because of the context.

The drive has taken you all these hours. Just the distance or was there bad traffic? You need to sleep. :)
