He really should have deleted his browser history.Yep. Geordi can practically rebuild a Galaxy-class warp core from scratch but can't even go on a date in the holodeck without completely and utterly botching it.![]()

That popped up on my feed a little earlier. Interesting stuff. We Travel By Night has finally finished his Enterprise-D bridge concept bridge video.
i vaguely recall reading that one of the mudd episodes was intended as a backdoor pilot for a mudd series, but i don't remember where or if true.

He was doing science stuff. Not to derail the thread, but just a random thought regarding "Assignment: Earth": Why was Spock hanging out in the transporter room at the beginning of the episode? They had just completed time travel, they were undertaking a highly unusual research mission, there was no indication anyone was preparing to beam down to Earth at that time. Why wouldn't he be on the bridge?

Would you know why THE VIRGINIAN regularly ran for 90 minutes during its run?Nope.
Here's a list of hour-long shows waaaaay before Star Trek (those with * shifted formats from half-hour to an hour during their run). Hardly a new concept.

1957 Have Gun – Will Travel*
1958 77 Sunset Strip

What is true is that half-hour dramas were waning by that period.
Love American Style............Happy DaysNever is a long time.

Oddly enough MeTV+ ran a preTNG episode of Hunter and a postTNG episode of Diagnosis: Murder last Thursday with Marina as the bad guy and I don't think she was that bad.I usually don’t like to call out any particular actor negatively. Because I know a lot more goes into it than reading lines.
So, as I’ve watched select episodes lately, I’ve found that Marina Sirtis’s acting has not aged well. She was absolutely cringeworthy in “The Loss”.

In fact, I didn't see the twist of her being the killer in Diagnosis.
As with any production, script and direction can elevate or diminish a performance. She wasn’t bad all the time, just that, overall, it hasn’t aged well.

Amazing what happens when you have a writing staff that actually understands how to write Troi as a person, innit?"Nepenthe(PIC)" may be the best work she ever did as Troi. That is easily one of the best episodes of all three seasons of that series, and everyone is good in it.
