What are your gas prices?

Thanks to my 40-cent per gallon discount a couple of days ago... $3.30 per gallon. I remember when that was highway robbery and "OMG TEH ECONOMY!"

For the past few months, regular (87-octane) gas has been hovering around $4.00/gallon in my not-quite-fashionable neck of the woods.

General Motors and Japanese Honda announced they are putting millions into new hydrogen fuel cell research and development, they expect there to be a huge current in new high tech cars and for many US families to adopt fuel cell vehicles by 2020. I think announcements like this will help car owners, prices and transport.
Fuel cells generate power for electric vehicles. Electric vehicle = no stick shift. Feh.

Just about $8/gallon here for diesel. Having said that, the car does 50-60mpg combined and I don't drive to commute.

$3.42 (US) per gallon today in central North Carolina.

[sorry Iguana...]
No worries. As I understand it, European cars are more fuel efficient. With my new Ford Fiesta I can easily get 19 km/litre (45 miles/US gallon).

Also, usually I don't use my car for my commute, so it's not a big deal.

I think part of that is down to European regulations on emissions as well as the ludicrous petrol/diesel prices with have to pay in Europe. These days how many miles/km it will do per litre/gallon can be a selling point.

Gasoline Prices EXPLODING !! Someone petro military industrial gasoline business is very happy with the stock market today, almost all other stocks crashed Dow Drops 170 Points, Nasdaq Falls 2%
